Prima increases price of wheat flour

Prima Ceylon (Private) Limited says that the price of wheat flour has been increased by Rs 5 per kilogram with effect from midnight yesterday (Aug 31).
Accordingly the new price of a kilogram of Prima wheat flour will be Rs 100.
The company said that price was increased due to the rising prices in the global market and the depreciation of the Sri Lankan Rupee against the US dollar.
