A person has been gruesomely hacked to death by unidentified individuals near the Purana Rajamaha Viharaya in Arawwala, Maharagama.
Police said that the murder had been carried out at around 2.00am today (07) and that the victim is a male aged between 35 - 40.
The magistrate’s inquiry is scheduled to be carried out later today.
