Ocean waves have been swashing in on to the Galle road along the coastal line from Akurala, Ambalangoda to Thotagamuwa since yesterday (27).
According to the residents of the area, this occurrence is owed to sunken stone barriers that are erected to prevent the erosion of the coastal line.
