The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) says that collection of signatures for the letter to be presented to the President objecting Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne’s arbitrary actions, commences today (25).

The letter protesting Minister Senaratne’s actions such as removal of Medical Ordinance and continuously interrupting activities of the Sri Lanka Medical Council, will be signed by doctors in every major hospital in the country, stated GMOA.

The letter compiled with signatures of doctors will be handed over to President Maithripala Sirisena over the coming week, further says GMOA.
