Six including Amith Weerasinghe granted bail

Leader of Maha Sohon Balakaya Amith Weerasinghe and 05 others, who were remanded over the violent incident in Kandy, have been granted bail.
The case was taken up before the Kandy High Court today (29).
Accordingly, the High Court Judge has ordered a cash bail of Rs 25,000 and personal bail of Rs Rs 500,000 on each suspect.
The 06 suspects including Amith Weerasinghe are slated to be release on bail after being produced before the Teldeniya Magistrate’s Court.
Terrorism Investigation Division (TID) arrested Amith Weerasinghe on the 17th March regarding the violent incident that took place in Digana, Kandy.
