Fuel pricing formula to be abolished

The fuel pricing formula will not be executed under the administration of the current government, says MP Dullas Alahapperuma.

 

He stated this today (30) joining a press conference held in Colombo.

 

He further said that the general public no longer has to fear or dread the ‘day of the devil’ anymore, which had fallen on the 10th of every month, and that the fuel pricing formula will become a ‘dead formula’ hereafter.

 

The fuel pricing formula was implemented on 10th May 2018 and the former Minister of Finance and Mass Media Mangala Samaraweera revealed the pricing formula to the public for the first time on October 18.
