The Expressway Operation Maintenance and Management Division has requested motorists using the Southern Expressway to limit vehicle speeds due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions.
Accordingly, the motorists are advised to limit the speed to 60 kmph.
Director of EOM & M Division S Opanayake said that the number of motor accidents has increased owing to the prevailing showery condition.
