Water cut imposed in several areas

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said that the water supply to several areas including parts of Colombo has been temporarily suspended.

Accordingly the water supply to Dehiwala – Mount Lavinia, Ratmalana, Soysapura, Colombo 06, Mulleriyawa and Pelawatta has been suspended until 4.00 p.m. today (10).

Meanwhile water will be supplied at low pressure to Colombo 4 and 5 during this time period.

The water cut has been imposed due to urgent repairs to the main water supply line from Ambatale water purification plant to Dehiwala.
