Mahinda to make a special statement tomorrow

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa will be making a special statement at the parliament tomorrow (15), states Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara.

The special statement will be regarding the no-confidence motion proposed today (14) and the government’s future plans, he further said.

Nanayakkara stated this today (14), at a press conference held at the Prime Minister’s Office.

He further said that the President Maithripala Sirisena did not accept the letter sent in by Speaker Karu Jayasuriya.
