One nabbed with cell-phone jamming devices

A person has been arrested in Negombo while in possession of 8 cell-phone jamming devices, the Police Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said.

The suspect was identified as a former Provincial Council member of Muslim Congress and a resident of Negombo area.

The raid was conducted by the officers of Negombo police station and Police Special Task Force.

SP Gunasekara stated this addressing a press conference held in Colombo today (07).
