A buried cache of explosives belonging to the Sainthamaruthu suicide bombers have been recovered from the Kattankudy beach, Police Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said.
The explosives were found buried in the beach area along Beach Road in Kattankudy based on information received by intelligence units.
Speaking at a press briefing in Colombo today (10), the police spokesman vowed that all items and weapons which have been hidden by the terrorists will be discovered and that they will not allow anything to remain.
He assured that everything uncovered by the authorities will be revealed to the public in due time.
He said that not only explosives, everyone connected to the terrorists will also be arrested while their assets will also be seized.
