Mother and son found murdered in Kilinochchi

An elderly woman and her son have been found murdered inside their home in Jayanthi Nagar, Kilinochchi.
Police said that the victims have been identified as Vishnu Gandhi Walliamma (70) and her son Vishnu Gandhi Vigneswaran (34), both residents of the area.
The bodies were found with multiple cuts inflicted on them while the magistrate’s inquiry is scheduled to be carried out by the Killinochchi Magistrate later today (30).
It is suspected that they had died as a result of an attack carried out by a certain individual or a group.
Kilinochchi Police is conducting investigations to arrest the suspects.
