New prepaid card for railway passengers

State Minister of Railway Services C. B. Ratnayake said that steps will be taken to introduce a prepaid card for railway passengers.

The State Minister pointed out that necessary initiatives have already been taken in this regard.

Accordingly, the relevant proposal will be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers for approval, he added.
