20 spill gates opened in Thabbowa Tank

Twenty spill gates have been opened in the Thabbowa Tank due to the prevailing adverse weather, according to the Disaster Management Center (DMC).
The DMC says that people living in downstream areas at Mee Oya are advised to temporarily relocate to safer locations.
