Saman Rathnapriya sworn in as new MP

Saman Rathnapriya has been sworn in as a Member of the Parliament of the United National Party (UNP) a short while ago.

Rathnapriya’s name was Gazetted to fill the vacant National List MP seat of the UNP on January 27.

A UNP parliamentary seat was left vacant with the resignation of UNP National List MP Jayampathy Wickramaratne.

Accordingly, Saman Rathnapriya was sworn in before Speaker Karu Jayasuriya as of UNP National List parliamentarian today (05).
