Wigneswaran’s new alliance to contest against TNA

The parties of the new alliance formed under the leadership of former Northern Province Chief Minister C. V. Wigneswaran have signed the alliance today (09).

 

The signing of the alliance had taken place at a private hotel in Jaffna.

 

Wigneswaran-led Tamil Makkal Kuttani (TMK), Suresh Premachandra-led EPRLF Party, S. Sri Kantha-led Tamil National Party (TNP) and Anandi Sashitharan-led Eelam Tamil Independent Organization signed the alliance.

 

The alliance, named Tamil Makkal Tesiya Kuttani (TMTK), is set to contest at the upcoming general election.

 

Wigenswaran stated that the new alliance will be contesting for the North-East provinces against the Tamil National Alliance (TNA).
