Mist and rain expected in several areas

Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in the Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Kurunegala district after 2.00 pm, according to the Department of Meteorology.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa province and in the Nuwara Eliya district during the morning.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
SEA AREAS
Mainly fair weather will prevail over the sea areas around the island.
Winds will be North-easterly to Easterly and speed will be (15-30) kmph in the sea areas around the island. The sea area around the island will be slight.
