Six dead, three injured in Lunugamwehera accident

Six individuals have been reported dead in a road accident in the Lunugamwehehara area, stated the Police.
A van traveling to Kataragama had veered off the road and hit a tree causing the accident.
The accident had occurred near the 22K kilometer post at around 2 am this morning (09).
Reportedly, 3 other persons have sustained injuries in the incident.
The injured have been admitted to Hambantota and Debarawewa hospitals for treatment.
