Vehicles transporting food, essentials items allowed to proceed during curfew

Vehicles transporting food and essential items to economic centers island-wide will be allowed to proceed during curfew hours, stated DIG Ajith Rohana.

Relevant permissions for transportation can be obtained by contacting the nearest police station.

Once the curfew is lifted, the general public is requested to keep a distance of at least 1 meter between each other when buying food and essential items from stores.
