Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field against India in the World T20 final at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Sunday.
While all-rounder Thisara Perera comes in for Seekkuge Prasanna in Sri Lankan squad, India remain unchanged.
The toss was delayed due to rain. However, there was no reduction in overs and it will be a full 20-overs per side game.
India who cruised to the summit clash without a single loss in the tournament will be eyeing their second title. No team has won the World Twenty20 title twice or by remaining unbeaten throughout a tournament.
Sri Lanka, on the other hand, will be aiming for a perfect farewell for Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene, playing their last T20 International, by clinching their maiden title.
