Pakistani cricket team were bowled out on Saturday after scoring 332 runs as Sarfaraz Ahmed made a century scoring 103 runs on 127 balls and strengthened the whole team’s batting line in the second test match in Colombo.

Pakistan in its first inning was troubled by the Sri Lankan bowling attack as Sri Lanka’s top-ranked spinner Rangana Herath grabbed nine wickets.

Herath, now, has the best figures for any left arm bowler in history, surpassing the previous record held by Hedley Verity (8 for 43) and became the first bowler to take nine wickets in an innings since Murali against Zimbabwe at Kandy in 2002.

The Pakistani team could not start confidently after taking out the Sri Lankan batting side at a total score of 320 runs.

Pakistan’s first loss came at the initial 47 runs when opener Khurram Manzoor got out after scoring 23 runs.

The sixth-wicket pair of Asad Shafiq and Sarfraz Ahmed stemmed the rot with a 93-run stand that lifted the tourists to 244-6 by stumps, still trailing by 76 runs with four wickets in hand.

Sri Lanka had won the first Test in Galle by seven wickets.
