38-year-old shot dead in Katunayake

A person has been gunned down and killed at Heenatiyana area in Mahagama, Katunayake.
Two gunmen had opened fire at a 38-year-old who had been returning home in a motorcycle at around 9.30 pm on Friday (15), according to the police.
The victim had succumbed to injuries while being admitted to Negombo Hospital.
The police said an argument that fell out between the two parties previously had led to the shooting.
