Two more Covid-19 cases increases total to 1,863

Two more confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been reported increasing the tally of cases reported in the country to 1,863.
The new cases are two naval personnel from the Iyakachchi quarantine center, the Government Information Department said.
A total of 04 new cases were identified so far today. The other two patients include a returnee from Qatar who is at the Palagahatenna quarantine center and a returnee from Mumbai who is at Diyatalawa quarantine center.
Presently, 728 patients infected with Covid-19 are being treated at hospitals while 1,122 patients have fully recovered and have been discharged.
