The Department Of Government Printing says that the longest ballot papers of the 2020 Parliamentary Election will be printed for the districts of Gampaha and Jaffna.

The Government Printer Gangani Kalpana Liyanage stated that the longest ballot paper of this year’s election is 23 inches.

She stated that the widest ballot papers which are 9 inches will be printed for the districts of Colombo, Vanni, Batticaloa and Digamadulla.

Liyanage said that the length and width of the ballot paper changes based on the number of political parties contesting, the number of independent groups and the number of candidates contesting each district.
