Suspect nabbed with 6kg of Kerala Cannabis in Omanthai

A suspect has been arrested in the Thuvarankulam area in Omanthai Police Division while in possession of 6kg of Kerala Cannabis.

The arrest was made by the Police Special Task Force officers in Cheddikulam in a joint operation carried out with Omanthai Police.

The suspect is a 29-year-old residing in Panikkarpuliyankulam, Omanthai.

He will be produced before Vavuniya Magistrate’s Court today (17).

Omanthai Police is probing the incident further.
