Gazette on health guidelines to hold election issued tomorrow

The gazette pertaining to the health guideline for the General Election 2020 will be issued tomorrow (22), stated Director-General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe.

The Director-General said that this gazette contains health recommendations that must be followed in accordance with the Quarantine and Prevention Ordinance.

Accordingly, all District Returning Officers are to be informed about the aforementioned gazette notification with regard to the upcoming parliamentary polls.

Further, steps have been taken to legalize the health guidelines to be followed in dealing with the daily life of the general public through the relevant gazette, he added.
