Construction of Beliatta-Kataragama railway line to be expedited

Plans have been put in place to expedite the construction activities of the Beliatta-Kataragama railway line, said Minister Mahinda Amaraweera.
The Minister of Passenger Transport Services Management mentioned this to the media in Tangalle.
He said that a considerable portion of the relevant construction will be completed within this year.
Steps will be taken to submit the necessary cabinet papers for this purpose, Amaraweera added.
