Anura, Rajitha, Arjuna arrive at PCoI on political victimization

Several former parliamentarians have arrived before appeared before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) investigating incidents of political victimization.

Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake and former ministers Rajitha Senaratne and Arjuna Ranatunga arrived at the Commission this morning (23).

This was to give evidence on a complaint lodged by Chairman of Avant-Garde Nissanka Senadhipathi on the alleged loss incurred by his company due to arbitrary takeover.

Seventeen parties had been issued summons to appear before the Presidential Commission regarding the complaint.

On June 17, former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka, too, arrived before the Commission with regard to the summons issued.
