‘Kabaali’ gang member busted in Mullaitivu

A member of the ‘Kabaali’ gang has been arrested in the area of Puthukkudiyiruppu in Mullaitivu, says the Police Special Task Force (STF).
The 31-year-old was in possession of heroin, a Kris knife and several other weapons at the time of the arrest.
He has been handed over to the Puthukkudiyiruppu Police for further investigations.
The ‘Kabaali’ gang is a group of organized criminals operating secretively in Mullaitivu and is similar to that of the ‘Awa’ gang, according to the STF.
