12-hour water cut for Welisara & nearby areas

The water supply for several areas including Welisara will be suspended for 12 hours from 9.00 am on Thursday (25), says the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB).
Accordingly, Welisara, Mahabage, Mabola, Kandana-Nagoda, Kerawalapitiya, Matagoda, Kerawalapitiya industrial zone, Dickowita and Dickowita Fisheries Harbour areas will be affected by this water cut.
In addition, the water cut will also be imposed for Bopitiya, Pamunugama and Uswetakeiyawa areas.
The NWSDB said the water supply is being disrupted for the said areas due to a pipeline upgrade.
