Suspect commits suicide inside police cell

A suspect, who was in the custody of Narahenpita Police, has committed suicide inside the cell.
The Police said the suspect took his own life by hanging himself last night (24).
According to reports, the suspect was arrested in connection with financial fraud.
Narahenpita Police is probing the incident further.
