
Former Sri Lanka batting great Kumar Sangakkara has become the latest player to enroll for the draft of the inaugural edition of the Twenty20 Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is scheduled to be held next year in Dubai and Sharjah.
“Sangakkara is a world-class sportsman and we are excited to welcome him on board,” Najam Sethi, the head of PSL was quoted as saying by foreign media.
Sangakkara recently retired from international cricket after the recent series against India. He ended with 12,400 runs in 134 Tests at an average of 57.40 and 14,234 runs from 404 ODIs at 41.98.
The glittering tournament will feature international superstars like Kevin Pietersen, Chris Gayle, Lasith Malinga, Luke Wright and Tim Bresnan.
