COVID-19 cases hit 3,126 as three more test positive

Three more Covid-19 patients have been identified raising the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 3,126.

Two arrivals from Kuwait and one inmate at the Kandakadu Rehabilitation Centre have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The Epidemiology Unit says 179 patients infected with Covid-19 are currently under medical care.

In the meantime, the total number of recoveries stands at 2,935.
