Eighteen patients recover from Covid-19

Eighteen more individuals infected with COVID-19 made complete recoveries today (09), the Ministry of Health said.

 

The situation report issued by the Epidemiology Unit revealed that 09 patients receiving treatment at the Welikanda Base Hospital, 04 at the Infectious Disease Hospital and 05 at the District General Hospital in Hambantota were discharged in this manner.

 

COVID-19 recuperations confirmed in Sri Lanka thereby reached 3,296.

 

In the meantime, the total count of positive cases of novel coronavirus found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 4,488.

 

The Epidemiology Unit says 1,179 active cases are currently receiving treatment at several hospitals across the island.
