Grade 05 Scholarship Exam today

The Grade 05 Scholarship examination for the year 2020 is set to commence at 9.30 am this morning (11).

The first paper of the examination will be held from 9.30 am to 10.30 am while the second paper will be from 11.00 am to 12.15 pm.

A total of 331,694 candidates are to face the examination today and they are requested to be seated at the examination hall by 9.00 am.

Meanwhile, 12 special examination centers have been established in the Gampaha district where the curfew has been imposed.

The Commissioner General of Examinations Sanath Pujitha stated that these special centers have been set up for the candidates from Gampaha District and are to sit for the examination at the examination centers in other areas.

The Ministry of Education requests parents to send their children to the Grade 05 Scholarship Examination without any fear as all arrangements have been made to conduct the examination under the health safety guidelines.

Parents of candidates from curfew areas will also be allowed to travel with their children to the examination centers, DIG Ajith Rohana said.

If there is any issue regarding the examination, it can be reported to the Examinations Department on hotline 1911 or telephone numbers 0112-785 211, 0112-785 212.
