Taking into account the prevailing situation in the country, Sri Lanka Railways has decided that all but special trains for G.C.E. Advanced Level exam candidates will not stop at the railway stations in areas where curfew is in force.

Accordingly, passengers will not be boarded and unboarded at Dematagoda and Maradana railway stations, Deputy General Manager of Railways V.S. Polwattage said.

Meanwhile, trains operating on the coastal line will not stop at railway stations between Katukurunda and Bentota, as well.

However, the trains especially arranged for G.C.E A/L examinees will make stops at the aforementioned railway stations. These trains are in operation from the 11th of October to 06th of November.
