Eighty-nine more COVID-19 recoveries

Eighty-nine patients who had previously tested positive for Covid-19 have been discharged from medical care after recovering.

Eleven patients from the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID), 06 from Iranawila Hospital, 09, from Colombo East Base Hospital, 14 Sri Lankan patients and 01 foreign national from the Hambantota District General Hospital, 15 from Kattankudy Hospital, 28 from Homagama Base Hospital, 01 from Theldeniya Base Hospital, and another 04 patients from the Ambanpola District Hospital have been discharged.

This increases the total number of Covid-19 recoveries in the country to 3,803.

The tally of confirmed cases in the country is 7,521 while 3,703 of them are currently under medical care.
