Train arrangements during curfew in Western Province announced

Sri Lanka Railways has published a notice on the train arrangements during quarantine curfew in the Western Province.

The General Manager of Railways M.J.D. Fernando said several changes were made to the train schedule as quarantine curfew will be in force within the limits of Western Province from midnight today (October 29) until 5.00 am on Monday (November 02).

Accordingly, all the trains from Rambukkana to Colombo Fort, Beliatta/Galle/Aluthgama/Kalutara to Maradana, Awissawella to Colombo Fort and Chilaw to Colombo Fort will not be operated between October 30 and November 01.

However, on October 31 (Saturday), the special trains for G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination candidates will be up and running as per the scheduled time.
