Ministry introduces direct contact lines to solve issues of industrialists

The Ministry of Industries has taken measures to provide the necessary facilities to the industrialists considering the continuation in the field of industry essential in the face of the prevailing situation in the country.

The ministry has appointed three directors for this purpose and has introduced three direct telephone numbers to submit the issues faced by the industrialists.

Accordingly, the industrialists have the opportunity to submit their issues directly to these directors and seek immediate solutions.

The industrialists may contact the following telephone numbers as applicable:

Issues on Industries carried out within industrial zones:  Director Vindika Piyarathna – 071-397 6406

Issues of industries not located within industrial zones: Director Rasika Wijekoon – 0113-158 114

Issues on import duties: Director Sithara Jayasena – 077-082 0775

Chulananda Perera, the secretary to the Ministry of Industries, stated that these direct telephone numbers are introduced with the aim of providing immediate solutions to the issues faced by Industrialists island-wide.
