The total number of coronavirus recoveries reported in the country crossed the 9,000 mark as 657 individuals who were diagnosed with Covid-19 were discharged from medical care after returning to health.

The new development brings the total number of novel coronavirus recoveries reported in the country to 9,537.
Sri Lanka’s confirmed cases court meanwhile stands at 14,285. The Epidemiology Unit says 4,712 of them are still under medical care.
