National Zoological Gardens Director-General resigns

Ishini Wickremesinghe has stepped down from her post as the Director-General of the National Zoological Gardens.

Wickremesinghe has resigned citing personal reasons, the State Minister of Wildlife Protection Wimalaweera Dissanayake said.

Ishini Wickremesinghe is the daughter of Shan Wickramasinghe, the brother of former Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe.
