Virat Kohli becomes fastest to reach 19,000 international runs

Virat Kohli has bettered Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara and Ricky Ponting to become the fastest player to 19,000 runs in international cricket.
When the Indian skipper reached 11 at the SCG on Thursday, it marked his 19,000th run across Test, ODI and T20I cricket.
In just his 399th innings, it made him the fastest player to achieve that feat in cricket history.
Tendulkar (432), Lara (433) and Ponting (444) were all markedly slower to 19,000 runs.
Kohli’s run-haul is comprised of 10,232 in ODIs, 2167 in T20I and 6613 in Tests (as of tea on day one of the fourth Test).
