Fire breaks out at warehouse in Kelaniya

A fire has broken out in the upper story of a warehouse at Galborella in Kelaniya at around 06.30 a.m. this morning (Dec. 05), Ada Derana reporter said.

The fire brigade has dispatched six fire trucks belonging to the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) to help douse the flames.

The power supply to the area has been suspended owing to the fire which broke out within the building.

The upper story of the building seemed to be completely destroyed by the fire, the reporter mentioned.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained while Kelaniya Police is conducting further investigations.
