New chairman appointed to SLTB

A senior officer at Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS), Eng. S.M.D.L.K.D. Alwis has been appointed as the new chairman of the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB).

The appointment was made by Transport & Highways Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardena.

The lawmaker presented the letter of appointment to the new SLTB chairman at the Ministry of Transport and Highways.

Mr. Alwis has previously served as the Secretary of the Transport & Highways Ministry.
