Wasantha Mudalige remanded further

Inter-University Students’ Federation (IUSF) convenor Wasantha Mudalige, who was arrested under the Prevention of Terrorism Act, has been further remanded until January 31 by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.

Furthermore, the decision on his bail application will be announced on January 31, according to Ada Derana reporter.

The court order also noted that any written submissions regarding the bail application should be filed before January 24, if any.

The order has been issued by Colombo Chief Magistrate Prasanna Alwis when the case was taken up today.
