Four youths reported missing while bathing in Ellawala falls

Four youths are reported missing while bathing in the Ellawala falls in Wellawaya this morning (March 21).

The missing youths have been identified to be aged between 22 and 24 years and were residents of Kalmunai and Sainthamaruthu.

Ten youths who came on a trip had gone to bathe in the waterfall, where four of them had been swept away by water currents.

Ada Derana reporter said the four youths are believed to have drowned while bathing in the waterfall.
