Seven firms submit EOIs for new refinery in Hambantota

Seven companies have submitted EOIs (Expression of Interest) for the proposed new refinery in Hambantota by the deadline yesterday (March 27), says Kanchana Wijesekara, the Minister of Power and Energy.

In a tweet, Minister Wijesekara noted that the technical evaluation committee and other procurement committees will evaluate the EOIs and issue the Request For Proposals (RFPs) to suitable applicants.
