LPL 2022: Colombo Stars thrash Dambulla Aura by 9 runs

Colombo Stars registered their victory in the fifth match of Lanka Premier League 2022 as they beat Dambulla Aura by 09 runs.

 

Colombo stars won the toss and opted to bat first against Dambulla Aura.

 

The Stars posted 166 runs on board with 09 wickets in 20 overs.

 

Chasing a target of 166, Dambulla Aura were bowled out for 156 for 07 wickets at the end of 20 overs after Tom Abell bagged 33 off 23 balls and Dasun Shanaka’s 31 runs.

 

Suranga Lakmal, Dominic Drakes and Karim Janat got two wickets in each for Colombo Stars.
