Malaysian Foreign Minister to visit Sri Lanka tomorrow

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir is planning to undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka from 08-12 October 2023.

During the visit, the Malaysian Foreign Minister is scheduled to have bilateral discussions with his Sri Lankan counterpart Ali Sabry at the Foreign Ministry and pay courtesy calls on President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena.

Dr. Kadir will be accompanied by the Undersecretary of the South and Central Asia Division (SCA) Dato’ Syed Mohamad Bakri Syed Abdul Rahman, Undersecretary of the OIC and Regional Cooperation Division (ORCD) Ahmad Kamrizamil Mohd Riza and Special Officer to the Foreign Minister Abdilbar Ab Rashid of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.

During the visit, the Malaysian delegation will also participate in the 25th meeting of the Committee of IORA Senior Officials (9-10 October) and the 23rd IORA Council of Ministers (11 October) in Colombo.
