Five spill gates opened at Polgolla Reservoir

Five spill gates of the Polgolla Reservoir have been opened following the heavy rainfall experienced in the area.
Reservoir Engineer-In-Charge N.K.L.S.K. Dias stated that as a result, people using Mahaweli River between Polgolla and Victoria Reservoirs are requested to be vigilant in this regard.
